You should do yourself the horner to live here at Fontanella Borghese when you are visiting Rome! My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel which is placed in the middle of Rome for 5 days and every sleepover was quiet and good. The breakfast was very nice. It was not only bread and coffee as the romans may like it.
The hotel has a lovely athmosphare with beautifull soroundings. The receptionist, Kalid gave the warmest welcome! So kind and very helpfull everytime you saw him. The best and biggst credit to him for al the usefull information!
Nice hotel for everyone.
Rome is a beautiful city you can walk in and it made it so much better with this wonderful and central hotel. I have found my favorite hotel in Europe! I will defintly book my stay here next time I visit Rome, that's for sure.

Small-scale hotel in the middle of town at walking distance from all historical monuments and the Vatican and in the middle of the shopping area. Ideal location. Friendly lady-owner and personnel. Only minor point: the breakfast should have a wider choice. Nevertheless: warmly recommended.

Like many European hotels the rooms are small but it was very clean and the location is fabulous. It was very reasonably priced for downtown Rome and we could walk everywhere. There is a wonderful Piazza just a few steps away where you could enjoy a meal and people watch and the Colosseum and Forum were less than 20 minutes away.

We were so pleased we stayed at this charming hotel for 5 nights when we visited Rome. The hotel is located opposite the Borghese Palace in a quiet area and is on the second and third floors of a very grand old building.

The hotel is walking distance to many of the popular tourist sights in Rome yet it is a quiet sanctuary (e.g. the Vatican, Trevi, Spanish Steps, the Imperial Forum, the Pantheon and Campo di Fiori as well as cool neighbourhoods such as Monti.)

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are so helpful and professional; you feel like you are staying with friends.

The breakfast is nice and serves the best cappuccino we had on our three month tour of France and Italy.

The hotel is an easy stroll to many good restaurants and the staff are very happy to make suggestions to suit your budget and palate and make bookings as required.

We can't recommend this hotel more highly and would return to stay in a heartbeat next time we visit Rome.

This is a charming, affordable hotel with a great location. The room we had was not large, but it was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was typical for Italian hotels, but everything was fresh and the coffee was excellent. The staff was the best part of this property. The owner introduced herself and her and her staff were very helpful, particularly in recommending restaurants and making reservations for us. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
