In glorious air conditioning, peruse at leisure this historical site. Have a view of the video first before entering upstairs to the main museum part. Keep your 5 Euro ticket and you can return!. After your visit why not go to the 'Cemetary for Foreigners (the only one in Rome for non Catholics!) and see Keats memorial stone as well as other famous people!. Take Red Metro from Spagna in direction of Anagnina, change at Termini (2 stops), then take Blue Metro to Pyramide (4 stops) in direction of Laurentina. The Commonwealth War Cementary on the road opposite, is also well worth a visit for those interested in war history.

Whether interested in the romantics or not, still worth a visit. A relaxed and tranquil environment to learn about the past and spend time in the moment. If you are looking for somewhere to be mindful you couldn't find a better place. I would definitely revisit. Very inexpensive to get in.

Situated at the base of the Spanish Steps sits this small "bijou" museum. I know little of Keats or Shelley but this nicely maintained and well staffed museum was very interesting. Good video room as an introduction. Some more read poetry would be a possible improvement. For just €5 it's a no brainer. FYI, it's better than the Spanish Steps and as you've walked all the way over here you might as well pop in. Enjoy !

A beautiful little gem of a museum by the foot of The Spanish Steps. A must for any Keats and/or Shelley lover. In fact, a must for any literary lover.

Really enjoyed learning more about Keats' life and other poets from the romantic era.
The main salon is a book lover's dream; the smell is amazing and all those beautiful old leather bound books are so satisfying to look at!
