Before even staying at the locanda al viminale there was prompt responses to my email queries. Being 2 females cousins traveling thru Italy, we were concerned of safety and location when researching our options. This B&B fit all our needs. The location was central, clean, safe and Paolo met us outside upon our stated arrival time to help with our bags. He gave us maps, suggestions on where to eat and had our breakfast delivered to our room at our requested time each morning. His recommendation of The restaurant right outside the locanda was the best we had in Rome. I am so late on this review since we stayed there in September but the memory of our time spent in Rome still brings smiles and I could not let another day go by without letting others know and to thank Paolo for his hospitality. We hope to return someday.

This is such a lovely B&B in the perfect neighborhood of Rome. It's very central and walking distance to everything, but on a quieter and less touristy side street. Paolo was incredibly accommodating and really makes you feel at home, and having breakfast brought to your room each morning was such a treat. I will definitely stay here again when I next come to Rome.

I loved our stay at Locanda al Viminale! The staff was very nice and they provided breakfast every morning! We were unable to taste the actual homemade breakfast because of early tours, but the kitchen was always stocked with food and drinks. The hotel is also extremely close to a train station and right next door to a delicious Italian restaurant! I'm definitely planning on staying here when I go to Rome again. :)

We stayed in here for 2 days before a cruise. We've been in Rome several times, so had no agenda. It's very close to the Coliseum and in a nice neighborhood (right across from the police station). A couple of blocks from the train station, walkable!! They arranged for an airport pick-up, very convenient!! Breakfast is nice and served in your room when you request it. Owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Very clean and well-taken care of. Would highly recommend.

We had to extend our stay in Rome by one night and realised that the hotel we had booked priorly didnt have accomodation for the extra night. So we decided to stay in a B&B, Locanda al Viminale. It was a no-fuss place with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Had ample drinking water, with tea and coffee facility through the day.Good breakfast .
