We expected a 4* design Hotel, but we got the feeling of being in a 1* one. After deciding to spend more money on that Hotel due to the reviews and the advertising we can't recommend it at all.

The room (114) was very small and definitely not the one showed in the pictures. We needed to call the reception everyday twice in order to turn on/off the A/C. Also, we found the room's walls a bit dirty and as said, way different from the pictures. The WC was small, old, and the worst thing was the bath smells there after getting back in the evening. Needless to say the noise in the evening.

The room looked nothing like the pictures, I was told that the hotel was renovated 4 years ago but the room was worn out, the carpet had stains, the wall looked like it had water damage in one spot, and the bathroom smelled really bad. The staff was very nice and helpful, they sent someone right away to try and do something about the smell but the solution he used made no difference

Our stay at Hotel White was wonderful, great location. Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend to everyone. Walking distance to Trevi fountain. Paolo was fantastic and so helpful.

The hotel is very run down and not well kept. Not sure how it is considered a four star hotel when it is clearly not. The original room was is such bad condition that we had to upgrade and by upgrade I mean we paid more to have a room that was still run down but with less stains in the room. The hotel staff were not helpful with the exception of Giuliana who couldn’t jave been more helpful. Even the elevator appeared not to have been vacuumed in quite some time!

Room Tip: Time to renovate!!

Excellent location ,helpful staff ,nice breakfast, small rooms
We were given a very small room on arrival and we were able to move to a bigger room the next day, it seems like this happens a lot in Rome. So check your room first before settling in, it is not a good idea to unpack on day one, pack again and unpack, especially after arriving from Australia
