For a standard hotel, this one is very nice and offered an excellent breakfast in the dining room. Our room was small, even by Europe standards. It's located on a quiet street near Vatican City. We stayed for two nights prior to a cruise. Our main reason for staying here was its proximity to the San Pietro train station. If you are taking a train to the port and want to avoid the large, busy train station in Rome, this hotel is within walking distance to the train station.

I stayed at this hotel in Rome for 4 nights before joining an Italy tour.
The hotel is very close to the Vatican and hence a bit far away from the City Centre.
I walked around a lot and there is nothing more important than walking in Rome to “ feel” the city
The hotel is very clean throughout, the common areas lobby breakfast area bar lifts corridors are very well kept. My room was close to the lift and stairs hence it was noisy . My room was almost spotless in every aspect, even in their daily routine when they try to skip some duties. I might be scarred by what I have seen over the next 10 days with the tour. Hotels who claim they are 4 stars and don t deserve it. Breakfast was excellent for service and variety. Very competent and helpful staff at the reception. I would have preferred a better room but apparently this is what the tour operator allows them to give.

We stayed here for five days and was not disappointed at all! It's a walking distance to the Vatican square so we're basically at the square everyday that we were there. They offered different selections for breakfast (free breakfast). Their coffee was so delicious that I had to drink 2 to 3 cups of it every time we had our breakfast! Our room was very clean and they replace the towels and sheets every day. The staffs were very friendly.
So all in all, if you want to visit the Vatican this is the hotel for you! We will definitely book here again on our next visit to Rome in the near future!

Very nice room with small balcony overlooking the Vatican. Short walk to St Peter's square. Quite pricey so shared a room with a colleague attending the same conference. Breakfast pleasant and evening meal good.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Vatican & Sistine Chapel. Quick & efficient check in staff at 11:30 pm! We arrived extremely late but everyone was wonderful. The room was very modern with a view of the Vatican & the Basilica. There was an amazing buffet breakfast that had everything from an array of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, juices, all types of breads & buns. The staff were very helpful suggesting where to go & what to see in the area. It was a great place to stay as it was within walking distance to all the major sites.

Room Tip: We had a higher level room facing the Vatican City
