Contemporary elegant interiors from the moment you step through the entrance door, the room we stayed in was small but beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything worked and everything was spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast is ridiculously good value, delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel staff (all of them) are warm, friendly and professional, and every restaurant suggestion for dinner that we followed was excellent.

The Nerva hotel really doesn't need to be this good, it could get away with much less because it couldn't be better located for all of Rome's sightseeing; everything is walkable and you can literally see the Roman forum outside the window.

If I'm lucky enough to visit Rome again I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed at Nerva for our wedding anniversary weekend and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is very well located and convenient, and the amenities and staff were faultless. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Room Tip: we were upgraded to the suite as it was our wedding anniversary. Was like having our own pied-a-terre in Rome!

My husband & I have just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay in beautiful Rome. It was our first time in Italy & we had the most amazing time! We feel very strongly that our choice of hotel contributed to how amazing our holiday was.
Nerva Boutique is a beautiful small family run boutique hotel. The location is outstanding- right near the Forum & Colosseum. The area of Monti itself is gorgeous & is well worth exploring. The hotel is located in a quiet, pretty cobbled side street, yet it is close to restaurants, bars & within walking distance of the majority of the historical sights. I had lots of email interaction with the hotel prior to our arrival. They were always courteous & helpful in answering my questions. They even recommended a nearby yoga studio & I attended an excellent yoga class during my stay like I was a local!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel owner & manager who was very welcoming. Antonio is very professional & charming.
We particularly loved the list of recommended restaurants that we received upon check in, put together so thoughtfully by the hotel. We tried many of these recommendations & found them to be excellent- particularly loved the restaurants Le Mani in Pasta in fabulous Trastevere, Ginger & Re Cafe. These suggestions were personal recommendations from the hotel owner & inspired by his own experience. We loved that they were "proper" Italian & not so touristy.

We had a large deluxe double room with a separate side entrance. It was modern & stylish. The bed was firm & comfortable, great air con, smart tv and excellent powerful shower. We arrived to strawberries & a personalised welcome note- a lovely personal touch.

The hotel manages to convey an authentic homely, yet chic understated elegance. I think the fact the hotel is family run for 25 years is reflected in how you are treated as a guest. The customer service is exemplary. Every person we encountered from the gorgeous, joyful Sally at breakfast, to the domestic staff & reception staff ( Nicole was so nice & helpful) were lovely & seemed genuinely happy to be there.

We opted for breakfast as part of our room rate & found it to be tasty, very fresh & plentiful. We enjoyed freshly squeezed Orange juice, good coffee, cheese & ham or salmon, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurt....the list goes on. You will never go hungry here!

From 3pm until 7pm you can enjoy complimentary coffee & cakes. We especially loved the biscotti.

We were able to store our luggage at the hotel all day after check out & were invited to have afternoon tea despite the fact we had already checked out. Antonio even printed out our boarding passes for us. He could not have been nicer to us & is just a lovely man who oozes class & sophistication much like Nicole the receptionist- Italians are just so stylish I love that.

We visited the beautiful 5 star Hotel de Russie for an evening meal which we enjoyed, but you cannot beat the charm & attentive personalised touches you receive at Nerva Boutique.

We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a perfect stay & for being so welcoming & gracious
What a wonderful team! We hope to
return to your hotel & to Rome soon. Just sad we have to go back to Starbucks & Costa coffee....until next time Roma!

Lovely hotel located in a fantastic position for visiting all Rome's attractions and all the historical sites.Hotel staff all very helpful and polite.
Breakfast was served by lovely ladies who ensured that everything was exactly as required.Reception staff gave directions and help when asked, from ordering taxis to recommendations for excellent and not overpriced restaurants.
A great hotel and we will return when next in Rome.
