Came here on a tour off a cruise. So impressive. Make sure you have a knowledgeable guide to explain the history and incredible engineering involved.

Great to visit and was free to enter. It was an amazing sight to see and we signed the book to honour the King. I wouldn't say it was my highlight of Rome, but it was great to be able to appreciate the history of it.

*warning that I was told to cover my shoulders before going into the Pantheon because it is a holy place, would advise if it is hot to bring along a scarf to cover your shoulders*

Everything about this is impressive - you feel it when you walk through the giant brass doors and look up to the open Dome. You understand why this temple (now church) inspired so many artists and architects. Its truly spectacular inside.

Go here! And bonus - because its a church, entry is free!

The Pantheon is free to visit, getting there early to beat the crowds is best to take in and enjoy what there is to see. Silence is the order of the day when inside to appreciate the atmospheric feeling. Well worth a visit and one you won't forget.

We gave up trying to visit the Pantheon as the queue stretched right across the piazza. Unfortunately Rome is vastly overcrowded unless you visit in mid-winter.
