This hotel was so beautiful and such a great location! It is located directly at the top of the spanish steps and directly next door to the gorgeous cathedral. The lobby and common areas are elegant and the room was beautiful. We had a room with a view across the city. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again on our next adventure to Rome!

Room tip: get a room that looks out over the spanish steps

Hassler is in the very center of Roma and just above the Spanish steps.
I got economical and took the basic room from the courtyard so no view. If you want to get best of the stay spend some money for the view.
Service excellent and Breakfast very good. Concierge had good knowledge of restaurants so ask.

We just spent a lovely weekend at the Hassler with our two young kids. As others have said, this hotel
is a Grande Dame in a great location. The staff are their greatest treasure and make you want to overlook any other minor faults the hotel may have. They made our kids feel very special and welcome. (Our rooms were a bit on the noisy side (205 & 206)). Our well travelled kids voted this hotel's breakfast their favourite ever! And even I have to admit that their hot chocolate was amazing. We ate in the bar restaurant one night and the food was very nice. All in all, a superb stay.

Luxury Hotel, great location with exceptional view from the rooms at the front of the building.
Old style - Traditional hotel - great service, outdated - old fashion - good breakfast - not worth the price.

Located at the top flight of the Spanish Steps (near Spagna station), the hotel can be easily accessed if you arrive at Rome by train. It is also within walking distance to Via dei Condotti and Via del Corso - where all the retail outlets covering designer to everday-wear brands. You can also stroll to other key landmarks with ease, taking in the atmosphere in Rome.

Apart from the splendid location, the staff service was impeccable. Incredible attention to details, great anticipation of needs, and are always willing to lend a hand with a smile. One of the staff - Caesar, exhibited great hospitality, warmth and served with much enthusiasm.

Finally, if you do decide to stay here, don't forget to go to Imago, a Michelin starred restaurant, where you will be blown away by dishes that are beyond imagination.
