Absolutely beautiful! The intricacy of the artwork is not to be missed. Even though it was very crowded and the weather was not great it was well worth it.

Visited on a Thursday mid-afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it was not more crowded. The fountain and its wonderful sculptures are somewhat incongruously sited in this rather out of the way location.

I've always wanted to see Trevi Fountain, but so do thousands of other people!
Unfortunately the crowds ruin this lovely attraction.
Because we were staying quite close we visited at varying times of the day, but always so so busy. Maybe early morning would be better.
Nevertheless, glad I've seen it

the most beautiful and romantic place in Rome. Lots of people flock around this fountain. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet go before 10am. For romance find a spot next to the fountain late in the evening after a bottle of wine.

The fountain itself is beautiful but I expected it to be in a big open square but this was not the case. We stumbled upon it really as its just enclosed by buildings and was packed full of tourists you couldn't really get a good look.
