Very good, cheap, nice staff, great location in the center of Rome. Barabara is very helpful, she told us what are the main attractions we need to see in the city. Room was very clean and convenient. Highly reccomended!

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel when we were in Rome in October. Fantastic location! We walked to Borghese Villa, Forum, Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The only place we had to take the metro was the Vatican. They even had a bottle of wine to welcome us!

Giorgio is extremely quick to respond on email. Barbara is onsite almost everyday and provided lots of helpful tips and helped make dinner reservations.

Nice room with a view of Via Veneto!

It's been a real pleasure to stay at La Piccola Maison.

After a very warm welcome thanks, Barbara gave us very helpful informations and recommendations about all the places to visit in Rome and super suggestions to eat in authentic restaurants!

We stayed in a very nicely decorated room, quiet and very clean.

La Piccola Maison is perfectly located... we managed to visit eveything by foot, even with a child.

My husband and I stayed at La Piccola Maison for one night in mid-September, prior to embarking on a cruise. It proved to be an excellent choice.
Giorgio was brilliant with his communication prior to us arriving. We took a pre-booked car from the airport which he arranged. The price was competitive and the pick-up went smoothly.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, given a map and plenty of local knowledge, assisted to carry our bags and even presented with a bottle of wine.
The room was clean and well-equipped. The wifi was excellent.
The location was superb being within close walking distance of the main attractions of Rome, a metro station and many restaurants.
And of course the well-stocked wine store next door!
Barbara was most helpful upon checkout, making a phone call to ensure that our transport was to arrive on time.
Because of the attention to detail provided by Giorgio and Barbara, ( and their friendliness ), you will always be pleased with your decision to stay at La Piccola Maison.

Fantastic four nights in Rome staying at La Piccola Maison (sort of).

Booked our stay through Expedia but unusually didn't pay on booking but were advised we would pay when we got there. We had some reservations as the room we had booked continued to show as being available right up to our departure from home (Paisley, Scotland).

When we got there we were collected at the airport by a car arranged by Giorgio from the Piccolo Maison however the driver took us to a different accommodation in Via in arcione which is about 10 minutes walk from La Piccola Maison.

We were met by Barbara who was very nice and friendly but explained that there had been a mix up with our booking so we had been allocated a higher specification, bigger and more expensive apartment rather than our room at La Piccola Maison.

We were slightly sceptical but to be fair the apartment was very nice indeed. It was very spacious, had clearly been recently refurbished and had everything you would need for a four night stay. It was also in a brilliant location, being about 200 metres from the Trevi Fountain.

Other reviews had mentioned being allocated different accommodation from that booked so the owners obviously have multiple places and it was not a problem for us.

Giorgio was very helpful in answering queries and arranging our car from the airport in advance of our trip and Barbara was very helpful when we were there, including looking after our luggage on the day of departure and arranging a car back to the airport.

This would be a five out of five but for the unexpected change of accommodation which we were happy with but some people might find disconcerting.
