I couldn't say enough positive things about this hotel! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. It's disappointing when a great hotel gets a bad review as it's injustified. We loved it here, our room was spotless and cleaned daily with new towels. Staff working hard from early to late with smiles. Breakfast was fab, location amazing right on the edge of the old town beside gorgeous restaurants and cool pubs. We had a minor glitch, my fault, with our booking and the hotel graciously figured it out for us. Highly recommend it here and Gaeta is fabulous.

Entering this nice situated hotel you can only have good expectations. But by the time you have had your room, taking the lift up to 4th floor, standing on the terrace with a view over Gaeta, you realize you have not been welcomed. You wonder why, but later you understand why. The staff is only interested in them self. Guests come and go, so why bother, seems to be the motto. A pity. Hotel Gajeta could be so much more.

Easy to find and good location to arrive by car. Hotel has it’s own well functioning parking area and parking was free.

Clean rooms, nice jacuzzi and helpful and nice staff. Okay distance go restaurants etc.

I would recommend!

We stayed three nights and had a good size room with a mini-kitchen area and our own balcony looking over the water/mountains. Friendly staff, good breakfast including bacon, eggs, pastries and coffee from the bar so it was a good coffee. Convenient location. Don't worry about the US Navy across the street. Very quiet. They play the Star Spangled Banner at 8am through a speaker so if your windows are closed, you won't even hear it. If they're open, you may hear a bit but not disturbing at all.

We had a late dinner here this week and I would say the service was very good and the food was fresh. It was a nice meal, but not memorable. For three of us we spent 100 Euros for two appetizers, three plates of ravioli, three deserts and a bottle of wine. The manager speaks very good English. We ordered without a menu, which gave us the impression that the menu is limited. We enjoyed the local buffala mozzarella salad.
