“Lovely apartment very close to train station and Pompei ruins.”
Reviewed 26 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Spacious apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were friendly and helpful. We loved the view of vesuvius from the kitchen window. The balcony is very large and sunny.
It is easy to get to all the local sites by train from the apartment. Driving in towns is not for the faint hearted but once out in the country or on the motorway its fine. We did not find a general food shop within walking distance of the apartment but a large supermarket is a few minutes drive away.
Our favourite place was a wine tasting and vineyard tour at Cantina dei Vesuvuis on the slopes of Vesuvius which included 8 different wines and a 3 course tasting lunch.

“Location ideal with great views”
Reviewed 15 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

The location was ideal for us, with immediate access to trains to local tourist spots, views of the ruins and Vesuvius from the apartment. The owners were charming and couldn't have been more helpful. Their advice was very useful, and it really helped that their English was great.

“Amazing views in a stunning apartment”

The apartment is ideally located just a 5 minute walk from Pompei Scuvy train station. Trains every half hour to Naples and Sorrento and very cheap compared to UK prices! The pompei ruins can be seen from the apartment and again are just a few minutes walk to the entrance, the same goes for the bus to Mount Vasuvious.
The apartment was excellent! It had everything we needed and more. Very clean with working air conditioning in every room (definitely needed in August). Very comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom and the kids loved the quirky bunk beds. The two terraces were well equipped with sun loungers and and outdoor eating area with a canopy for shade. We all loved the pool, which comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 children.
The views from the apartment were incredible! A very imposing Mount Vasuvious and the Bay of Naples with the Isle of Capri in the distance. We ate at the owners restaurant twice and both times the food and ambiance was exceptional.
Pompei town is tourist central and therefore the price of everything was greater than we paid in Rome. However, there was a supermarket just 10 minutes walk from the apartment, which allowed us to cook our own meals and on 3 occasions we jumped on the train to sorrento and had a more reasonably priced meal by the sea.

“Lovely Villa”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We stayed in July 2016. The villa is lovely, beautifully furnished and the pool was very welcome at the end of a day's exploring the area. At only a ten minute walk from the train station and the entrance to the Pompeii ruins it is well placed for day trips to Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Rome.
