This marina has the feel of an authentic fishing village. There are restaurants where you can buy freshly caught fish dishes at a fraction of the price of those being sold in the main town. There are many opportunities for boat rides of all types and there is a small beach.

This is a must-see for any visit to Sorrento. Marina Grande is a 15 minute walk from the Piazza Tasso down narrow cobblestone streets and alleys with minimal traffic. This is an active fishing village with several mostly open air restaurants serving freshly caught seafood. It is a great place for dinner while viewing the sunset and watching pedestrians and fishermen. There are lots of photo opportunities!

This is a great little fisherman's village with lovely restaurants overlooking the water and very characteristic for this area.

This was where our hotel was and it's a perfect location, it has a few restaurants and some lovely bars to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by..it seems to be a good spot for the local fisherman to gather..there was a small supermarket and two buses that run..they run from outside the supermarket up into sorrento square..it's a perfect little spot to get away from the hustle of sorrento centre..
