Excellent hotel in many ways, good breakfast, beautiful views, comfy room, huge bed and pleasant staff. Location is great, a short walk into the centre.

Big downside for us was noise and the bedrooms doors slamming (I see this has been raised by others). We stayed on the lobby level (T) for 4nights in June. We were continually woken up by people slamming doors late at night and early morning. Basically your only option is to slam the thing to get it to shut. Additionally you could hear people upstairs moving around too (only really bothered us one night where I swear someone was doing a workout in the room above!) I am surprised more people haven't mentioned the sound issue here...perhaps it is just level T? I think it isn't helped by having hard floor surfaces in the corridors, even flip flops flip flopping down the hall were incredibly loud! They need to look at soundproofing on level T, even shutting the fire doors part way down the corridor to stop the noise travelling would be helpful. When we raised this with the lady on reception we got a "oh, sorry about that" and that was it. Disappointing.

Would recommend the hotel for deep sleepers or those with earplugs!

Room Tip: Don't stay on level T (lobby level).

The reception staff in particular the Hilton honours desk staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them even when I asked for a different chair in my room. Fresh egg station and waffles at breakfast. Deluxe rooms are huge!! Hilton cares about its reputation so you can't go wrong. Just one caution it's a bit out of the old town so bear in mind if you can't walk around ten minutes up a moderate incline.

First impressions when you are checking in at the Sorrento Palace leave you wondering if the rooms will match the wow factor in the foyer. We stayed in room 341 one of the newly refurbished executive rooms which definitely did not disappoint. The room was extensive and modern with furniture and fittings of the highest quality. The bathroom was sparkling white and spacious. With amazing sea views overlooking Mount Vesuvius spending time on the balcony was a delight. In the heat of the Sorrento sun we were able to chill out completely.

I don't recommend staying here if you are on business. The hotel is very loud with parties in the lobby. There are a lot of families as well. The service by the staff was typically quite ignorant with little attention given to guests. I don't recommend paying for the executive lounge. Although the pool was nice, the service and food selection was poor. Far less than other Hilton's. I would not return.

We loved everything about this hotel. The customer service throughout was 5 star.
Daniela Somma helped us with the perfect transfer from the Naples airport and had
2 rooms ready for us early for checkin around 100 pm. We were given the red carpet
Treatment from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Alessandro showed
Us our beautiful rooms overlooking the Vesuvious and pool. I recommend booking a sea view room. The views from the balcony are amazing. If you are a Diamond member the executive lounge has the best food in Italy. Special fruit tarts and cookies
And made to order eggs, new pastries every day. We loved every minute and met
Great new friends from around the world. Thank you so much to the staff for making
Our anniversary trip so special. We will tell all our friends about the great amenities
Of your beautiful hotel. Can't wait to come back and spend more than 2 nights, hopefully a week.

Room Tip: Book a room with a sea view and the on the executive floor if possible
