This little bar packs quite a punch.

We visited many times during our latest stay, morning, noon and night (and it’s always the first place we go when we arrive).

The location is unbeatable, with tables right on the edge of the harbour. The service is friendly and helpful. The coffees are tremendous. The Nastro Azzuro is served perfectly. The house red wine is superb. And the caprese sandwiches are spectacular – simply made with superb ingredients, and seriously delicious.

Very reasonable prices too. It’s a win-win.

This little restaurant lives up to it’s reviews, perched overlooking the coast on Marina Grande. We rocked up with pull along cases looking for a quick lunch en route to Capri and were given a table immediately. The mixed grill was gorgeous, washed down with rose, and totally reasonably particularly given the pricey proclivities of the region! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, it was utterly fab.

We went here in the middle of October with a party of four. They were able to seat us right away (although it was very crowded and had a bit of a wait later on) on the outside terrace. Everyone ordered something different and we were all very satisfied. From the salads to seafood & pasta main dishes to dessert, everything left me wanting more. The liter of local wine was amazing (and cheap!) and the view matched it. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Sorrento.

We went there on 31st October 2018 for dinner, ate at the pontoon which was nice but the food was plain average. We are both Portuguese so we are used to good seafood! We had the gnocchi alle vongole (big portion but bland taste), grilled squid (which you could taste it wasn't fresh), caprese salad and tiramisu. They served us quite quick after ordering. The tomato on the caprese salad was the most delicious part of the whole meal, which says a lot about this restaurant! I think there must be better options in Sorrento.

This seemed to be the popular place for the locals so we went for our main fish meal of the week. We both had a plate of mixed fried fish plus some salad. We could probably have managed the plate between us and the plate of grilled fish also looked like a good option to share - perhaps with some pasta. We had some confusion with getting seats - told to sit anywhere by one waiter and then told off by another one for doing just that. Sorted in the end but could have been a bit more polite in doing so.
