This hidden gem if a bit off the beaten path in Sorrento, but we were very glad we found it. We ate here twice while spending several days in Sorrento. This is a small restaurant so I recommend a reservation. That said, if you don't have a reservation, you may get seated with another couple which happened to us. We actually sat with the same lovely couple, Chris and Rayann from Wales both time we ate here! This is run by a husband and wife, and the wife's parents are the servers! Nicola will take your order and once all orders are in, turns up the music and sings and dances to everyone's amusement! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, I think 2.50 euros for a large glass of wine! We thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals here and miss your fun loving personality Nicola!

If you are looking for a quiet, romantic, dimly lit restaurant this is not your place. This place is small, loud, chaotic and wonderful. The owner takes the order. His wife cooks and grandmother serves, all while the son and his friends play video games on the television in the dining area, with the sound off. It is the quietest thing in the room. That said, this place feels like home, like a neighborhood restaurant should be. We had spaghetti with mussels and clams and sea bass, along with a great salad. Wonderful food served with lots of love and hard work. Loved the meal and the location away from the tourist hub. Just for something different it has one of if not smallest toilette room in Italy. Go figure.

While in Sorrento this is a must! Authentic food and it was sooo good we went there twice in our two day visit.

Put it this way, if I was on death row I would have my last meal from here.

We had the spaghetti and seafood special, eggplant parmigiana, and gnocchi. All were delicious and very reasonably priced.

To top it off the owner was amazing and you could see his passion and commitment to making each visitor feel special.

We had a wonderful, fun, and delicious experience here and are so glad we found it on TA. Not really like a "pub" at all. It is a small family-run restaurant, managed/owned by the husband and the chef is his wife, servers are the mom and dad. Periodically, the owner breaks out his tambourine, sings and dances, and just puts on a hilarious, lively show. He recruits willing customers to dance with him, if they're up for it. The food was very good, wine pours were huge, prices were extremely reasonable. I think because of the fun, interactive atmosphere, we ended up bonding with the parents and wife who were doing all of the support work, plus grew friendly with our much younger tablemates/neighbors.
This was a memorable break from the norm of eating out every night on a long trip and we highly recommend it. It is just a few blocks walk east of the bustling downtown area and a world away!

What an experience in many ways. And all of them very, very good.
Nicola is unique. Special (in a very good way), warm, passionate and absolutely great.
The food is straightforward Italian home cooked dishes of absolutely fantastic quality. We went for Napolitan Fritters as a starter to share and then a main course. The pasta bake was rich and packed full of flavours. I opted for the sea bass. And boy was it good. I have no idea what his wonderful wife, chef, and boss has put into it but the taste was the best I ever had. Cooked to perfection and I cleaned the last drop of sauce from the plate.
We left a bit drunk due to the generosity of the owners with wine and Limoncello and will remember this evening for a long long time.
Please make this family happy to be their guests as they will make you feel like members of their family.
Fantastico!!
Con tantissime grazie da Hugo e Fiona
