We stayed here for 7 nights at the end of September and we are still talking about what a wonderful host Daniele was. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and large. Daniele saw to our every need providing us with anything we asked for and more. The breakfasts were sumptuous with fruits, cereals, eggs, pastries! I wanted to taste a Sfogliatele and he produced them the next morning! Salerno is a great location from which to see Naples, Pompei, Paestum and the Amalfi Coast and Daniele was so helpful with travel tips and suggestions. We highly recommend the B&B and Salerno.

Room tip: The room facing the street was great except it could get noisy at night.

My wife and I and another couple just spent 4 nights at Daniele's place. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and very comfortable. Daniele was the perfect host. He met us when we arrived in the evening and showed us our rooms. Breakfast each day was incredible--great eggs or omelette, plus pastries, coffee and tea, all served in a beautiful dining room. We asked Daniele for travel and restaurant advice each day, and he was always available in person or by text to answer questions. Salerno was a real bonus. We used Salerno as a base for seeing Pasteum, Pompei, and the Almafi coast, and it worked out great for this since we were so close to the train station and ferry dock. This was the nicest B and B we've every stayed with, and would like to return some day. We highly recommend Salerno Antica.

Room tip: All rooms were very nice!

We stayed with Daniele last month for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Location allowed us to see a lot of this area of Italy. Daniele recommended we see Amalfi from the local ferry boat which allowed us to not have to fight the traffic and tight roads of the Coast. He also told us where to buy pottery (Vietri sul Mare) which we did. Breakfast was delightful each morning and he even made "American coffee" for my wife. Daniele speaks very good English which was nice compared to some of the other places we stayed in Italy. He provided excellent suggestions for dinner and we had one of best meals in Italy at one of the restaurants he recommended in Salerno. Room was well equipped with a very comfortable bed. We could not have been happier for our first three nights in Italy.

We stayed at the Antica for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Daniele was a great host, from the moment he collected us from the airport to the day we left, he was so helpful with everything.
Our room was lovely, very quiet, clean and the bed was a dream. Breakfast was delicious with a fab selection from omelettes, bruschetta, fruit and cakes.
Location was perfect for us, close to the old quarter, shopping and ferries.
We will definitely be back.
Grazie Mille Daniele.

I was enjoying staying in Daniele's place so much, I don't know what to write about in detail. Big, bright, perfectly clean, high ceiling, nicely furnished Italian style room with a private bathroom and varied breakfast options. All of this, plus a host ready to support you any time made my stay perfect. I will come back for sure one day.
