After finding this beauty on the website, we immediately cancelled our hotel closer to town.

Pescara is not very well known internationally so it isn't as crowded. The villa felt like our own home. We saw only 2 other couples the 5 days we were there.

The room was clean and a good size although the third person in the closet part of the bedroom was not ideal. Gorgeous balcony overlooking the grounds, town and sea below.

The grounds themselves are nice with plenty of areas to sit and relax. The villa is perched on a hillside overlooking the town. We had a soft breeze every day. We stayed at the pool sunning and swimming each day. Said pool has a cabana as well as a seating area. Really lovely.

The breakfast buffet is very nice. The smell of the fresh buns and cakes in the oven will make your nostrils swoon (if that's possible :o ). We sat on the terrace every morning in sun enjoying our breakfast. They even accommodated my soy milk request and prepared me a soy cappuccino every morning. Yummy!

The owner and her staff are wonderful!

They accommodated us by driving us to and from town after a day of shopping. We arranged for dinner the day we arrived as we were tired from traveling. We were delighted when we realized they had prepared a delicious 4-5 course meal.

We asked for a restaurant recommendation on our second night which the owner did and it turned out wonderful. The meal was fresh and very tasty. I'm still dreaming about their sorbetto dessert!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY IN THIS VILLA!

Luxury big house with top standard. Family business with superstandard. Good breakfast. Good service if you need extra info, or as we had missed the lunch and got it served at arrival.
Room standard is above what you can expect when you come to the bathroom. With good weather you can take a swim and have your own place in the garden.

Room Tip: GPS position for finding the place. Maps.me did not show street easily

Adele welcomed us into her beautiful villa with grace and hospitality
The views, our suite and surroundings were more than you could wish for
We were lucky to have 12 days here and Adele looked after us like family.
The gardens, the view and location make this the most luxurious B and B
Breakfast was 5 star -fruit, yoghurt, juices, home made coffee, cakes, croissants and all you could ask for , there was a different variety of choices each morning.
If you are staying here in the summer there is a magnificent pool, barbecue and plenty of space to enjoy the outside gardens.
When we go back to pescara we will be coming back here as it was just so special

Room Tip: All rooms but the blue room the largest suite was the best

We arrived at this villa by car and had a little difficulty finding it, however after a phone call to the owner we found our way to the large entrance gate. The villa has plenty of secure parking within the property which is a bonus. The interior of the house is beautifully furnished and our bedroom was spacious with a big bathroom, also very private. Our Italian is very limited but we managed to ask the owner for a recommendation for a restaurant in town (five minutes away). The result was the friendly young man who carried our suitcases up to our room had us follow him by car to a restaurant, he then had one of the staff members come out and remove his car from the front of the restaurant so we could park there! Next morning we had a lovely breakfast and a wander round the gardens, the weather wasn't warm enough to use the pool but in the summer the outdoor area would be perfect, lots of lounge furniture and areas to relax in. Definitely recommend, not called luxurious for nothing.

We loved everything about Villa Zagara: the room (with large terrace and wonderful view), the garden, the pool, the atmosphere....everything! The people were very helpful and very kind - also for our dog. Breakfast was excellent - every morning the smell of freshly baked bread spread around the house. We stayed at Villa Zagara for 15 days and will definitely return there. If you do not have any transport and want to spend your days/evenings on the beach, this may not be the best choice. But if you are looking for a peaceful, small-scale oasis in a crowded, lively city, this is the place to go. By car, the beach can be reached within 10 minutes. The villa is located uphill, but there is a bus stop nearby.
