We stayed in Benidorm’s old town for a girls trip recently and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at how different the old and new town are.
The old town is full of brilliant restaurants, bars and shops. There are some excellent tapas restaurants, one in particular called Zodiac which was very cheap with good food. The old town is lively but to a reasonable standard, whereas the new town is slightly more bouncing and full of party goers.
Would definitely recommend staying in the old town if you like some tranquility during the day time. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the new town for a livelier evening.
Good prices everywhere and lots of competition. Friendly locals and plenty to see and do during a stay there.
