Me and my friend have just got back from our annual holiday at the Voramar..BAD STUFF. The rooms are tidy, not clean.. Hairs in the bathroom and bedroom, Stayed all inc, the food is very basic. View from room was a concrete wall. Watch out for the Old barman Miguel, he serves all the Spanish then makes himself busy with cleaning before serving the Brits, and dont complain as no one is interested, there was a couple with a young daughter who waited over half hour to be served as he wouldnt allow her a kiddie cocktail, when the woman complained he said he will serve who he wants, when I told him they was alcohol free, it was my turn to wait for drinks { beware } old guy with glasses, downstairs bar . GOOD STUFF, 2 Mins from beach, great pub { Vincents} across road, Great loud music around rooftop pool. Near to the beach. Great reception staff and the bald man at the pool was a great laugh. Kebab shop just round corner { LUSH }

Room Tip: Stay at the sol pelicanos ocas, brilliant

We have stayed here twice before and found it was good, now this is an honest review.

We went half board, on arrival we were given the choice of lunch or evening meal, we opted for lunch.

Room had the aircon on already, lovely, two small single bed's not comfortable either.

Not been cleaned much either hairs on the floor, finger prints on the terrace door,
had the room done twice in a week, still as bad

Off to lunch, room number given only to be told in broken English, you cannot eat tonight in here ok wagging his finger at us, and every dinner he did the same !!!!!

Food, now im not a fussy eater but the choice wasn't good most day's
Garlic chicken, which looked like it was in dish water and with a couple of garlic leaves thrown on top.
Meat pie, was actually mince with a pie lid on top!!!!!

And if you wanted to dine at lunch that would have cost you 12 Euro's !!!!!!!!!

And you have to buy water as well they turned the machine off !!!!!!

Pool another failure, you cant go up till 10am, we were told to leave when we went up at 9.30am,

The bar dosen't open until midday, so you had to go down 7 floors to get a drink, whoever made this up needs to be addressed asap

Then at Midday the barman arrives and put's up all the parasol's putting you in the shade, we said we didnt want one, but he said its incase it rain,s ???????

Also you have to pay 2.50 euro's in you want to stay on the roof terrace after 6pm as they have entertainment and if you are not all inclusive you have to pay or you are asked to leave, absolutely disgusting, the sun is out for at least another 3 hours.

wi-fi wont work on the roof terrace either

Lift's utter waste of time, two small one,s we used the stairs it was quicker

Sleep, unless you are a heavy sleeper, you wont get much, woken at 1am and 2am by the binmen and then the road sweeper as our room was in the side street.

Now when we checked out we were asked to leave a good review on here as they were going for a 4 star next year, i think you need to get a good 2 star first

Room Tip: stay somewhere else

Lovely clean hotel. Staff very friendly. 2 sunbathing areas we chose the quiet splash pool only because everyday at 12 poolside music is so loud it isn’t relaxing at all. Food excellent. The hotel is right by the old town so just perfect.
