Nothing special about this place...this is your average food in a cozy setting in the middle of a nice neighborhood.

I got really great cups of herbal tea, a multi grain bread with salmon and one of their famous pastries. It is a great place to while some hours away alone with a book or chatting away with a good companion.

If you're lucky and the place is not packed you can get a table and enjoy the perfect pastry or any chocolate based sweet, or the macaroons, or..., anything. It's all so delicious. Pricy, though.

Since most people graded mama framboise 4 on average, I thought, let's give it a try. I was hoping to taste a nice lemon tart, my wife a good carrot cake and a good cappuccino. The lemon tart didn't taste much lemon and looked sad. The carrot cake tasted sweat and nothing else. We each ate 1/4 of our patisseries before giving up.

At least you got a decent cup of coffee you might say. Well, the coffee looked as it came directly from a less expensive coffee machine from work, and tasted as good as it looked (i.e. like muddy water with foam).

I can't say that this patisserie deserves the grade 4. Since the prices are high and the quality so very low, I can't give the patisserie more than 1.

An unassuming, quiet area for morning or afternoon tea with decent coffee. The cabinet houses a large variety of enticing and fresh pastries which were delicious...of the many we sampled anyway. Not fronting onto a busy street, it is located in a gourmet food hall/complex in the Salamanca area, from where it is most easily accessed.
