Went with ClubKaviar to celebrate an anniversary and it was a very pleasant night. In my opinion the starters (burrata and gyozas) were far better than the seconds (salmon burger and meat). Howerver all food was very good, service attentive without being painful and atmosphere wise the place is quite fancy.

A Spanish colleague of mine born and raised in Madrid recommended OTTO for us during our trip for cocktails and we were not disappointed. The food was good and full of flavor, though if you have any food allergies or aversions, do ask what is in some of their dishes beforehand (we ordered standard hummus and pita bread but the hummus was made with beet pulp which I cannot have and wasn't listed on the menu). The prices are higher than standard restaurants in downtown Madrid, but OTTO is in the nicer part of town, and the atmosphere is great inside the restaurant. Plus, the chairs/bank side sofas are so comfortable. We could've stayed all afternoon if we wanted to keep drinking! Would highly recommend for cocktails (Aperol Spritz was done quite well and only 6€) before dinner. Very upscale establishment and attentive waitstaff. All in all, a very positive experience.

I've been here with friends, the restaurant seems elegant and the service is ok but the food is very normal, low quality, and too EXPENSIVE for what it's worth.
There were many waiters, but they never come and ask if you need anything.
We had to ask for desserts 2 times. The dessert was a dry chocolate cake with a weird cream on top, probably all bought at a supermarket.
The chicken couldn't be eaten, disgusting taste, dry and fake, minimum vegetables on the side.
Wouldn't recommend. Maybe to go after for drinks, but the ambience is for elder people.

Went on Boxing Day with my wife at 11.30pm for a quick dinner.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the atmosphere is modern and lively without being loud or too "heavy". We got a nice table at the corner of the main dining room and enjoyed the risotto with mushrooms, tartar de atun and pineapple carpaccio. We had already had quite a lot of food before so did not eat much, but once there we would have had more to stay longer. This is the perfect place to have some cocktails (there's a nice bar in the first room) followed by some light food in a modern sophisicated atmosphere before going out

My closest 10 friends from grad school arranged for my dinner to be here and the one organizing things had told me that it was a surprise. We ended up in the private dining room ( PDR ) of the Otto at 9 pm.

The food and beverage choices were for sure on spot but the service was not.
3 of the 11 main courses turned up as the rest were ordering our desserts.

Location is great. To turn up without reservations shall be foolish I believe as this place seems to be sold out on weekends.

Not worth more than one visit.
