This hotel has a modern decor with comfortable rooms and free wifi. Our room was very clean and the showers were very nice. Comfortable beds and a quiet hotel was ideal for getting good rest before our flight in the morning. The shuttle is free and runs every 30. minutes starting at 5 or 6 am. You need to reserve the shuttle when you check in, it is popular and it was fairly full the two times we took it. Check in was fairly quick and we were also able to leave some of our luggage in storage. Prices are tolerable for the area and they are walking distance to the Plenilunio Mall that has lots of restaurants and a supermarket. I did not try the pool or the gym. Did not have their breakfast, instead made coffee in our room and ate a simple breakfast with items purchased the previous night at the supermarket in the mall. Did not have dinner here since we went to the mall for dinner. There is another hotel with practical the same name and next to this hotel. It is supposed to be cheaper and according to the staff it has one less star. We were happy with this hotel and the room and especially with the free shuttle to the airport. The shuttle was always on time. If spending the night before a flight I would stay here again.

This hotel has poor customer service although the staff are reasonably polite. They need more training and a better knowlegde of the area. The front house staff have very basic next to no knowledge of transport systems or routes into the city so I recommend you plan your travel ahead.
The breakfast was tedious, weak tea and basic selection of food. Although the donuts were nice.
The hallways are way too dark outside the rooms! The lights are off and then light dim when you walk down them. I really don't think this is safe especially if you have young children. Always check your room is locked when you leave the room because my door could open from outside even though I thought i locked it!
Gym and pool are basic aswell.
You will be content to stay here if you only plan on sleeping and going to the airport the following day.

We've stayed in this hotel because we were going to a 3 days festival (Madcool), the hotel was near of the venue and additionally had a free shuttle service to the airport and to the Ifema (Festival venue).

At our arrival, we booked the shuttle to the Ifema, which was acknowledge by the front desk of the hotel (18:00), and recommended us to arrive in the lobby 10 minutes earlier before departure. By our surprise we received a call at 17:00 to the room saying that the shutle was not available because there was no event at Ifema at that day - the main enterance of Madcool Festival was precisely through Ifema... :)

When we arrived that night, we left the "do not disturb" sign on the door, so that we could have some rest in the morning after. At 11h we wook up with the cleaning service kocking at our door intensively and shouting something in spanish for a couple of minutes. Each morning the noise of the cleaning service was not concordant to a hotel that recive people that do stop overs, go to concerts (different venues around this hotel) and that pay to have a proper rest...

The cherry on top of the cake was the giant cockroach (photo in attached) that we've found walking on our room on last morning of our stay. My wife had a panic attack because of that, which is a lamentable episode, that is clearly in line with the care of higine of the shower, we've found dozens of hairs from other clients that were stuck in the drain of the shower.

Positive feedback:

Friendly staff from the restoration area. Pool was nice and clean. Shutle from/to airport worked ok.

Hotel do not have shuttle service to ifema, we place transport for the main fairs therefore there is no trasnport to MadCool Festival as it is not a fair organized by ifema

We stayed at the axor hotel on our way back home. The location is perfect as it is just few minutes from the airport. The room was large and clean and accommodated three of us very comfortably. Would definitely recommend it.

Our flight from Barcelona was delayed so we missed our connecting flight in Madrid. The airline booked a room for us at this hotel. The hotel has free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back. The staff at reception/ reservation desk were professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, and modern. The bathroom had all the amenities anyone might need from toothbrush & toothpaste, razor & shaving cream, sewing kit, shoe polish kit, soaps, shampoos and shower gel, I was very impressed and happy with our stay at the Axor. The hotel also has a restaurant where we enjoyed their breakfast buffet in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.
