Yes it is quirky, but it still manages to get everything right - it does not hide behind the quirkiness.

Hotel arranged airport pick up which was 100% OK. Chech-in fine as was check-out and the cab they had also arranged. Billing equally faultless.

Rooms starnge but perfect even when view is internal.

Beakfast exemplary and sandwiches available gratis throughout the day.

Above all the staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

Finally its location is superb for Las Ramblas and the main shopping area.

Very much a hotel to come back to.

Room tip: any room overlooking the wall garden

There are fancier hotels, but for value and comfort, no one can beat Casa Camper.

Our room A42 was large with a comfortable Kingsize bed, lots of storage space, a huge walk in shower and a safe with a plug for your phone or iPad, ingenious.

The location is convenient to Las Ramblas and within walking distance to many of the sightseeing attractions such as Gaudi’s Casa Batllo, Gaudi’s Museum next to the old Cathedral, La Pedrera and the Medieval Roman section.

For the price of your room, you get a free breakfast that includes eggs, bacon or sausage, breads, cold cuts, fruits, yogurt etc. you can order your eggs how you want them and Paola or Constanza will bring them to your table with a lovely smile. You can have Caffe Americana with real cream, not milk. Also available 24/7 sandwiches, soup, desserts, yogurts, breads, tea, soft drinks, juices and coffee....all free.

The Terazza on the 6th floor has an honor bar. You mark what you drink and how much on their form. The bar has a wide selection of Scotch, brandy, wines, beer etc. for a bargain rate. We spent every evening there playing cards, drinking wine and meeting fellow guests.

The staff speak English and are friendly and helpful. There is no downside to staying there. I already miss Paola’s radiant smile and fried eggs with the best bacon anywhere.

We love this hotel located in Las Ramblas within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and attractions. The concept is very different and we really enjoyed our stay there. The room was comfortable, the bedroom on one side of the hall facing an inside garden, and a separate leaving room in the other side with a hammock and seating area facing the old city. The messages and signage were entertaining. We loved the idea of the honor bar and the tentempié.

This hotel is a hidden treasure. The breakfast is made to order, fresh and delicious. the rooms are spacious and very clean. Loved this hotel .
We had two rooms, one room had the bed bathroom and all amenities. Across from the room was another room for us that had an additional TV and a hammock. It was a private sitting room. What a surprise!

Fun little hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Breakast, lunch and snacks included! Each hotel room also comes with a private "living room" across the hall with a sofa, hammock, and TV....cool concept! Also has a great roof top bar! Staff were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel!
