This is a very good hotel located over the Sants train and Metro station. Entering the hotel from the station (and the ground level) is a bit tricky. Overall, I would classify this hotel as one on the upper range of 4* hotels. The room was of decent size, very clean, excellent huge bed, good amenities, free wifi. Having a room on the 6th floor was also a plus because of the view. Access from airport is OK: If you are in Terminal 1 (new terminal, most flights), you could take the shuttle bus to Terminal 2 and then the train to Sants station. Alternatively, you could take the Metro from Terminal 1, but you have to change lines at some point.
The hotel is located within walking distance from Placa Espanya (actually 2 Metro stations), near where the National Museum of Catalan Art, the Miro Foundation, the Olympic Park and the Magic Fountain (don't miss the show) are. However, for the rest of attractions you need to take the Metro (the Barcelona Metro, although it covers the Metropolitan area very well, is not user-friendly for people with walking problems).
The price per room was around EUR 110 per night (beginning of June), not bad for Barcelona and the quality of the hotel.More
