We stopped here on our first night in Barcelona because it was close to the hotel. The tables we could see from the entrance were completely empty (generally not a good sign) but the menu looked interesting.
It turns out that there are many additional tables beyond the entrance that were occupied. We ordered three appetizers to share and split the grilled entrecote.
The escalivada, burrata and the tortilla con alcachofas were all excellent. The bread was great and our wine; Mas Subira, Priorat was perfect.
The service was relaxed as it should be and everything far exceeded our expectations. We had just spent several weeks in France and this was the best meal we had had since we left Spain over a month before.
This is a really good, solid restaurant serving excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere.
I recommend it to all.
