Was really looking forward to visiting, and I was not disappointed.

Oceans of food and drink available, great atmosphere, and the ability to sit and snack at one of the many restaurant stalls.

On this point, the day I visited it was incredibly busy and you have to be prepared to be slightly un-British when it comes to queuing! Worth the challenge though, very memorable and lots of fun.

A great place to mingle with the crowds and see the produce on offer. You can only shuffle along, so be aware, and make sure you keep your valuables safe. Well worth the visit. You can try some of the local delicacies along the way.

This market is one of the very finestwe have seen, it is enormous and has stalls selling a variety of foos, concentrting on fish and sea food, as well as fruits and vegetables. There are also many eateries serving all sorts of yummy tapas. Certainly as good or better than the Mercado Central in Florence, or the English Market in Cork. Just off La Rambla this is not to be missed.
