Infantas de Leon is hard to find,
Arrived early and allowed to park.
Sent away, but the staff were kind,
Returned at five thirty (so not after dark).
Subterranean parking is tight
But better than many such places,
It's secure for nine Euros a night
And there seemed sufficient spaces.
Our room was not ready due to repairs,
The nice man said he'd give us a coffee.
(The coffee shop in the foyer downstairs)
We weren't really cheesed off, we
Got to our room in short order.
It was modern, clean and spacious,
Good value for money an "afforder",
With staff helpful and gracious.
Leon is lovely, the centre nearby,
A massive cathedral, impressive glass.
Storks untidily nesting up high,
Admire the architecture you pass.

We visited on our 2nd night of our circular tour.
Very nice hotel, lovely room and nice facilities.
Good location for wandering to a bar before dinner and close to restaurants and bars too.
Also parking for the cars, which was on site.

We booked to stay at this hotel for one night on our return trip to Santander as the hotel benefits from having its own private car park. However, it seems that it is a popular venue in Leon for wedding receptions and party functions and on the night of our stay, our sleep was disturbed considerable noise coming from guests in the ground floor function room. In our view, the hotel is now in need of some refurbishment, although standards of housekeeping are good. For the prices charged, I could not now recommend Hotel Infantas de Leon for those wanting to stop for a short stay in Leon

This hotel looks very dated, both inside and out. And it's location is very non-descript. It's obviously a function and conference venue and has long, soulless corridors of rooms. I notice variable recent reviews, but I question the judgement of one reviewer. Why I earth eat in the hotel when your surrounded by wonderful tapas bars?! So ignore all that! I think that overall this hotel gets pretty good reviews because the negatives belie what lies beneath.
First, it's good value. Second, it has cheap and secure parking. Third, the staff were all delightful. Smiling, helpful and twice put themselves out to arrange two coffees for me to take upstairs.
Fourth, the rooms, served by three different lifts, whilst very utilitarian, are clean, surprisingly large and with huge beds. Fifth, the location is just 5 - 8 mins walk from the cathedral. Perfect. We'd certainly stay there again.

Our room was 80 degrees plus when we arrived on a warm day and we were told "the rooms don't have air conditioning" even though there was a thermostat. The lobby and hallways were nicely cool. I think they just didn't want to turn it on. Do not stay here in warm weather!

Sorry, 80 degrees ???
Is the north of Spain.
In May today, there is a rainy day,
To go from cold to heat, from one day to another
You have to adapt the caleffaccion and go cold, and takes a few days.
I'm sorry it was not at the moment, this carries a process.
This hotel lives up to any hotel in the city,
The unforeseen time changes that we can not adapt so fast
Cold heat hotel facilities carry a process. They must be a little more understanding
my apologies
