I stayed at this hotel last week with my boyfriend we’re both 20 years old. We loved this hotel as the room was very modern and comfortable, it had everything we needed and some extra touches such as the colour changing shower! We stayed on a high floor as requested and the views were breathtaking, you can hear the sea crash against the shore as you’re falling asleep!
The pool areas are lovely and have large white beds you can lie on, the rooftop bar with the jacuzzis is one of the most amazing things about this hotel, so relaxing with stunning views!
The restaurant was nice with a good atmosphere, the food is lovely and I never went hungry , I especially loved the desserts and pastries! The chefs are lovely and cook some foods fresh for you such as chicken, steak or eggs and bacon (I like mine extra crispy) at breakfast which is a lovely touch! The male restaurant staff could be a bit abrupt sometimes when it came to asserting the rules of the restaurant.
We also attended the spa on a particularly cloudy day and we were very happy with the experience, we paid €15 each to enter and had the whole spa to ourselves and took our time working our way around all of the different pools and left very relaxed. The staff in the spa were very friendly and professional.
The only down side to the hotel is that there is no entertainment at all and it is quite a trek from the nearest town, the town is also not very lively! The majority of the hotel guests were also much older than us and tended to be more prude as I got glared at for walking through the reception in a bikini to get to the pool which is just out the reception door, and also for wearing a V-neck dress at dinner. There is also not a huge amount of rep interaction at this hotel if you are going with TUI so make sure you book your excursions in advance.

Having read all the reviews here and on other sites, we were looking forward to our stay at the Atlantic Mirage and we weren't disappointed.
We arrived at 10pm and the building with its blue lighting is stunning. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly and after checking in, were informed a cold dinner was waiting for us in the dining room which was very welcome and delicious.
Our room on the 8th floor was just as previously described with a fantastic view and very tastefully appointed.
The food was very good both for breakfast and dinner and there was pkenry of choice available. We didn't fancy the a-la-carte restaurant as it always seemed quiet so can't comment on it.
The new spa opened on the day we arrived so we decided to try it out and all I can say is Wow!!! Totally amazing setup which we'd definitely recommend trying; there were still a few things to be finished off but we thoroughly enjoyed our 2-hour circuit around the various hot/cold water experiences, sauna and steamroom.
The rooftop bar made up for the cloudy weather when we were there and there is something truly magical about sitting in a jacuzzi with a cocktail watching the sun set over the Atlantic!
All the staff were friendly and helpful and we couldn't fault the service we received - a truly memorable stay. My compliments and best wishes to the new owner and his team.

Today is our last day of a 5 day break here. The hotel is wonderful; particularly the room, pool and roof top sun terrace area. The food was also great. Details to follow.

We booked through Tui/Thompson. We flew through EasyJet. After our 4.5hour flight we arrived at Tenerife. We met the TUI rep and within 5mins were sent on our way via a private taxi (we were the only ones going to hotel). The taxi took 1hr 20mins as it has to go around the volcano.

We arrived at Atlantic Mirage and were impressed with the outside and lobby. I believe they’ve recently completed a €10m renovation.

We were greeted with champagne at reception and despite arriving around 12noon our room was ready.

The rooms are delicious. Huge bed, cool lighting in room, large shower; double sink. Cool multi-colour changing shower lights and a large window looking into the bedroom from the shower. With a click of a button the window goes grey. Very cool. The room also has a kettle, 2cups, 2 wine glasses and 2 tumbler glasses. There’s also a microwave and fridge/freezer. No cutlery or tea/coffee sachets but supermarket close by.

The views from the balcony were magnificent. It felt like we were on a cruise boat as all you see is the sea. The hotel is high up on a cliff but about 100meters from the sea so offers great, relaxing views. The balcony is ultra private too; you can’t see your neighbours to the side, above or below.

The bed is very comfortable and the curtains do a good job of making the room dark.

Tv was rubbish; just BBC World News. But the WIFI was very good so we just watched films on the iPad in bed. WIFI is free although limited to 2 devices. If you have 3 or more devices it forces you to logout of one.

We went half board. Breakfast was good. You could almost have a full English. The chef makes your bacon and egg in front of you. Coffee was via a machine but good enough. They offer lots of breads, meats and cheese too.

Dinner was also good. A nice selection of different types of food each evening. Fish was very good, as were the fresh prawns. Other meats included slow cooked beef, chicken, and plenty of vegetables and salad. Pizza n chips were available each night.

Desert was typical foreign stuff. Cakes and ice cream.

Men need to wear trousers for evening dinner but most were casual smart. It is buffet dining after all.

Drinks were reasonably priced at dinner and throughout the bars.

The swimming pool on reception level was lovely. They have lots of sun loungers; they’re cool and modern looking. They also have a handful of huge white bed things you can spread out on.

On the top floor is a sun terrace and bar. This is where we went most days. Great views of the sea and mountains. No swimming pool up here but 3 jacuzzi’s. Nice touch. And they have sun loungers in a 2 inch pool so you can cool your feet. Very nice.

The hotel is quiet. No flights pass and no main roads to be seen or heard.

There was a mixture of British and German’s here.

I have to say the value for money at this place is exceptional. I’m sure it’s just cheap now as it’s new and they need people here. Once established it’ll be more expensive.

We shall be returning. But maybe in June/July next year when it should be less cloudy. It was cloudy every day although we still tanned well.

We adventured out a few times. About 5min walk is a cluster of restaurants. Very cheap to eat and drink. And there’s a large supermarket. Same prices as UK and good selection of everything.

We also walked down to the main town. Took 12mins to walk down but 17mins to walk back up the steep path. From the hotel you can walk almost exclusively on a walkway path avoiding the roads. It’s quite clear; just follow the road down the hill.

The bars in the town are typical Benidorm type bars selling cheap beer and excellent cocktails. Most bars have 6+ TVs showing football. Lovely.

My whiskey sour and Amaretto sour for €5 was exceptional.

There’s McDonald’s n Burger King as well as lots of tourist restaurants dotted around.

All in all a wonderful holiday. Very chilled. Quiet. Lovely bedroom, great pool and very relaxing approach throughout. We shall be back with our friends next year.

We arrived just after 9 pm and the restaurant was closed, but not a problem as they delivered 2 meals to our room within 20 minutes. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and helped us with any questions we had. The hotel has been completely renovated from top to bottom to a very high standard. We had a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the sea and it gets a 10 out of 10. The food in the restaurant was very good with plenty of selection. There is a grill where they have various meats and fish cooked fresh as you wait. The bar staff are very friendly and efficient. We are definitely going back for another stay. The one draw back is if you have mobility problems you will have to get a bus or taxi to the main town as there are just over 200 steps to negotiate.

Room Tip: Junior suite with sea views are outstanding.

Thank you very much for your opinion.
Next to the steps is a normal road. You don´t need to use the steps to go down to the town.
