My wife and I stayed in the Comares suite for 7 days. The suite is perfect for a familly with one or two kids. Travelling as couple we did not utilize it fully. I would still choose it for my next trip to Tenerife as you really do not feel like being in a hotel but you feel like being home. Very nice suite with high ceilings. It did not bother us as we stayed there in February but it seems that you can only open small portions of the windows. For us the location was perfect. An evening walk through the old part of the city with more than enough decent bars and restaurants. In and out of the city with the car in just 5 minutes brings you to the north and west of Tenerife quickly and to the south in less the 75 minutes. We used the public parking that is just around the corner most of the time. Last but definitely not least.... service personnel at the hotel is brilliant and cheerful all the time.

We only stayed one night in this hotel and it was a really great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming - e.g. when the person at the reception got aware that we left our apartment (which was on the first floor) for check out, he immediately came up to carry our luggage downstairs. The apartment was very spacious and very nicely furnished in a traditional, but very comfortable style. The breakfast was served at the table. Very, very nice and fresh products - absolutely loved it. This place was truly outstanding (and I travel a lot and do not easily give these kind of ratings). Btw. there is a close parking next to hotel Laguna Nivaria for just 7,50 EUR / day. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
The only negative point I can mention is that we had lunch at the restaurant and whilst the service was absolutely outstanding, the lunch itself did not fully meet our expectations.

Great situation, right in the colonial down town. Great welcome and the rooms are confortable, and our with a kitchen. If you have a car, you have to find a parking not included around. The breakfast is with real orange juice and fresh products.

My partner and I stayed in the El Puerto suite for four nights. There were just two of us but four could have been accommodated comfortably.
We got off to a terrible start - not the hotel's fault. There was a festival the first night we were here and noise from the streets was appalling until 3 in the morning.
All good thereafter. There's tons of space, nicely designed with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen and decent living room. Our windows overlooked the roof of the restaurant so not especially scenic - I suspect other suites look out onto the pretty streets.
This tiny hotel is on La Laguna's smartest street, right in the heart of the old town. Great location - except during a festival!
Good value too. Friendly, helpful staff. Recommended.
