Location
Great location in a square near the town hall, cross the square and you are in the pedestrian zone.

La Laguna is a lovely town, it has lots of original architecture and some good restaurants. Very convenient for Tenerife North Airport but you don’t hear the planes here.

Bed
Biggest let down for me. When paying what we did, you expect a decent bed. The springs were going in both beds. We also had two singles despite booking a junior suite where you would normally expect a double.

Sound proofing
No problems here.

Bathroom
Had a separate bath with shower and jacuzzi and a very complicated shower Spa stand up unit which had its own computer. My husband tried to use this but gave up after being sprayed with cold water too many times. There were no instructions on how to use it. The normal shower was good enough though!

Breakfast
Simple choices but all good. My only issue was that they guarded the zumex orange juice machine as if it was the Crown Jewels and limited people to one glass of freshly squeezed juice.

Spa
It costs 12 euros to use the spa even if you are having a massage as well. We booked our massages before we arrived and there was already limited availability, so worth booking ahead. The massage was good. The Spa is in a separate building but it isn’t far, say 20 metres between the buildings. We just wore our Spa gowns and flip flops.

Room choice
We had a junior suite in the old building. It had a small kitchenette. It was nice to have the extra space but the sofa and chair were not very comfortable so I tended to just use the dining table chair.

Our room had a basic view, part hotel building , part car park. There was no balcony.

I debated whether to give 3 or 4. I landed on 3 due to the price we paid. I would stay here again, it was ok, but probably not good value for money.

Spent a night here to make the most of the scenery around Anaga. Hotel is well-situated with a large public car park (€7.5 per day) and easy walking distance to all sights in Laguna. We did not try the spa facilities (not included in our room rate) so cannot comment on those, but our room was large with dining area and kitchenette and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with excellent fresh-squeeze orange juice.

The hotel located 1 minutes’ walk from the pedestrian area of san cristobal de la laguna. We booked the suite room. The room was quite nice, comfy. It had wooden floor with separate bedroom and living area. There was kitchen corner but no cooking equipment’s provided. You needed to pay extra for it....same thing if you need to use the safe in the room.

The hotel has spa area but we did not have enough time to try it!

Breakfast buffet was ok…nothing special. I have a small complaint for the staffs at breakfast area: there were outside and inside seating for breakfast. Since the weather was a bit cold, most of the guests preferred to sit inside. After these guests left, the staffs didn’t clean the table right away but just leave it. When we arrived, we needed to sit outside because there was no clean table inside. For the 4 stars hotel, this shouldn’t happen. I think the staffs should be a bit more proactive.

Overall, we liked the hotel and we will go back.

Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. Great base to explore Northern Tenerife from.
The hotel is very clean, the restaurants are good and it was very family friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant, high quality hotel on the side of the old town of La Laguna, with wooden floors, high quality furniture, nice ambiance and decent restaurant. Pity it is a little bit on the expensive side, but certainly an excellent choice in town.

Room Tip: The hotel has two separate buildings - rooms in the building beside the Plaza del Adelantado seem better and more conveniently located.
