This is our 4th time here and this remarkable place always pleases. We ordered the set menu. All the dishes were delicious, and as always, you can tell that the presentation is an integral part of the extensive R&D process. Some of the dishes which I highly recommend are the mackerel, the lobster, the lamb, the beef, the poached egg, the seaweed-wrapped Seabass, and of course the decadent desserts. They served a chocolate shavings dish with chocolate ice cream, and a guava ice cream. Both were ‘heavenly’. It is noteworthy to mention that the staff always ask you if you have enjoyed every single course, and they allow for set menu substitutions. Elena, the chef owner is always on hand to welcome guests and inquire about their experience. It’s the place to go if you come to the Basque for a true Michelin experience. This one is definitely the best. Highly recommended.
