Former private property now open to public. Amazing garden with a diversity of fauna , local and foreign. An energizing experience

A very beautiful place to visit. Very peaceful with lots of hidden walks throughout. A river runs through the gardens which is just so tranquil. Highly recommended.

I love Botánico, is one of my favourites places in Gijon. You can find a lot of painters having inspiration of the beautiful corners.
There is a little " river " inside and a 20th style bathhouse that is something special. The price to get in is around 2€.
During summer time, you can enjoy the Botanico Nights having a funny show telling stories about the Asturias mythology.
Nice experience!

The gardens were quite large with many entwining trail and bridges. Some of the plants need more care but that might be because of the sheer size of the place. We found a large "insect "hidden in a ditch which was a big eye catcher. The hidden waterfall by a pond with attractive ducks was a serene scene. Also, there was a good pumpkin display to celebrate the fall season.
