We stayed here for four nights in one of the attic rooms (302) with terrace. The terrace was a lovely addition to the room - plenty of space to eat breakfast or to sunbathe. We had breakfast on two of our mornings there, and it was delicious - plenty of sweet and savoury items plus fresh fruit and good coffee.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful - filled with original features. And the location couldn’t be better as it’s so close to the majority of attractions.
A couple of minor points: yes, it would have been nice to have had a small fridge in the room; the three sets of cathedral/church bells continue throughout the night, so earplugs are a good idea! These things didn’t detract from our overall impression of the hotel, however. A charming place, certainly worthy of more than two stars! Would definitely return.More
