Hotel with seven rooms all on the second floor. Our room had no outside window but one with opened onto the square landing. Didn’t matter to us as the air conditioning was good and we didn’t spend too much time in our room. The hotel is 19th century and the furnishings are dark wood and are in keeping, but maybe a bit old fashioned for some people. We tried both the first floor restaurant (one to try for a special occasion) and the bistro run by the catering students. . We enjoyed both, the bistro very good value at 19 euro for three courses.
The hotel is in a very central location for all site-seeing and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.
Only one small irritation was the noise which rises from the ground floor late at night to the bedrooms, but this stops at 11.30ish and didn’t really bother us. A more interesting stay than most of the new hotels which could be anywhere.More
