Just back from a four night stay at the Hotel Becquer. What a great trip! The Becquer is 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar - and there are wonderful places to eat very close to the hotel. The room was very comfortable, and nicely air conditioned to cope with days in the heat sight seeing outside. The buffet breakfast was very tasty - and a great way to start each day. Every member of staff I came across could not have been more pleasant - helping everyone with a big smile and warm welcome.

I chose this hotel because it has parking and a convenient location in the city.
We had a superior room and it was lovely and big. I was worried being near the elevator would be noisy, but it was fine. The bathroom was amazing! Very big and even came with a jacuzzi bath which was a surprise. Air conditioning worked a treat and was quiet unlike most hotels.
Definitely recommend!

We stayed 4 nights here and had a great visit. The location was excellent and we were able to walk into the city a couple of times a day as well as along the river. There were lots of local
Cafes for breakfast which we we ate at each morning.

The staff were super friendly and all said Hola or Buenos Dias every time we walked in or out of the hotel.

We requested an iron and board and choose a softer pillow from the pillow menu. It was all brought very quickly and with a smile.

The pool bar/area was fabulous to sit at during an afternoon siesta.

I’d definitely recommend.

This hotel is situated close to places to eat- restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, takeaways, Spanish food, Burger King, also a SPAR store.A 10min walk down the Zaragoza and you get to the cathedral and Alcázar palace. Easy to find hotel with a taxi rank opposite for rides to anywhere further away or airport. It was about €26-28 to/from airport. The breakfast in this hotel is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. We planned to explore cafes but were so impressed with breakfast we had it almost everyday. Special thanks to the chef who made delicious omelettes for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only reason why I have given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because quite a few of the toiletries weren’t available in the room till our last night (didn’t mind as had my own). Hotel staff at the front desk were always helpful and courteous to us. The pool area was lovely and clean with a pretty view of the toro del oro at the back. Would recommend opening up pool earlier though e.g. 7.30-8am instead of 10am as would be nice to use before brekkie and watch the sunrise.Would definitely recommend the hotel if you’re exploring Seville.

Room tip: Ask for toiletries if they're missing

The only reason we didn't rate this hotel 5 was the lack of space to put your clothes. We booked a standard room, it was very large and comfortable but had a serious lack of draw or shelf space to put your clothes. We returned to the hotel for our last night in Seville and were upgraded by the hotel to a superior room. Loads of space to put your clothes (shame as we didn't need to unpack at all on our last night!)Our only other slight negative point was that we were charged for breakfast for all five days when we checked out. We only had breakfast on the first morning but because of my allergies decided it wasn't the right place for us to eat. When we pointed it out, they adjusted the bill with no problems at all - just best if you know how much your bill should be before paying. The difference was about 100 euros.Very friendly and helpful staff. If you want extra coffee or tea, you only have to ask. We'd definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Go for the superior room if you can afford it - not only does it have more space to put your clothes, comes with a jacuzzi bath too!
