I loved our stay at Suites Murillo and so glad I found it through hotels.com. The location cannot be beat - it's literally steps away (across the street) from the Alcazar, making it very entertaining to people watch and look at the huge line of folks trying to get into the palace. It's also only a very short distance from the Cathedral. We lucked out getting the third floor room which is just below the rooftop terrace, so I knew we were on the highest possible floor with great views. The sound of horse carriages didn't bother me at all - I enjoyed hearing the sound of hooves on the cobblestone streets. And plus the windows are practically soundproof, it was excellent. On the first night a very apologetic hotel staff did knock on our door at 11:30 PM and asked if we can refrain from using the shower that night because of a water drainage problem, it was affecting the roof or ceiling of the folks living on the second floor. I freaked out a little thinking what if we couldn't use the shower at all, I didn't want to move rooms, but good thing it was quickly fixed by the next day. Breakfast was awesome - we did the room delivery on Day 1 but on the second and third day we walked the short 5 min distance to the main hotel and had more of a variety of breakfast foods there. Also a plus is the free mini bar fridge that's restocked daily! That's a daily supply of water, beers, juices, etc. I would take free mini bar over having a lobby any day. I can't wait to stay here again when I return to Sevilla.

Room tip: Try to book 3rd floor room for best view

It was amazing to be in a small apartment just opposite and overlooking the Alcazar and the cathedral. The suite was beautiful and spacious. The continental breakfast brought to our room was lovely eaten upstairs on the roof terrace. Plus we could use the hotel for storing luggage at the end of our trip.
Minor comments - the shower did not drain well so it became a wet room after two showers. The key lift took a bit of practice. It was a shame to be a way from the hotel, but being opposite the Alcazar was better!!
We would consider going back x

Ideal location and surprisingly quiet as it overlooks the crowds outside the Alcazar. Super suite with many extras and very helpful staff. Breakfast delivered each day and can be eaten on sunny rooftop terrace. Bed huge and comfy and luxury bathroom with walk in shower and twin sinks. We will be back.

Seville, as with many European cities with old city centers, is challenging when it comes to driving and parking. The Suites Murillos were exactly as good as advised on Tripadvisor...perfect location, warm and friendly staff, well appointed suites and all at reasonable prices.But....read and follow their online instructions regarding parking. We foolishly had not and arrived at its' front door on one of the narrowest streets we ever experiences following a fairly harrowing drive into the old section over narrow cobbled streets. Our/this paricular "Suites" building is part of a (local?) chain of suites locations and hotel with Hotel Murillo at its' core. While our Suites building is clearly closest to the city core (cathedral,palace/Real Alcazar, etc), its' location is also the most difficult for parking. As it turned out, an attendant raced over from the Hotel Murillo to take our car (unfortunately now blocking the street...) and took it to a parking garage. We left it parked and walked the city, as well as taking the full excellent "hop on/off bus tour.
When we checked out a couple of days later we had to consider how to get our car and/or how to get our bags into the car without repeating the arrival scene. We discovered that the car had been parked just on the edge of the old city about 10 small picturesque blocks away at the public garage at "Park Cano y Cueto". The lower level is for private parking...used by hotels, etc. This is where our car was.But you can also park at the higher level which is available to the public. We decided to walk our on bags (on wheels) from the Suites to the garage. No problem. If we were to do it again, we would drive to this garage, park our car in the public section, leave our bags and walk to the Suites. They would surely arrange to get our bags and if agreed perhaps move the car to the private floor if cheaper...needs discussion when booking. But in all of this, the staff were terrific and very supportive. And given we loved the Suites we were in, it was all part of the adventure though this aspect certainly does not bear repeating.
