It’s impossible to walk through Real Alcazar and not marvel at many components. We were impressed by the courtyards. Courtyards were certainly used to display considerable gardening skills, but also the placement of courtyards in the construction of the palace do a great deal to create cooling breezes in the structure.
Apparently, different parts of the palace are available for viewing depending upon the presence of royalty. Without seeing rooms that are used regularly as living space, a tour still leaves one marveling over the tile and ceiling work. There is limited furniture to see in the public areas.
We toured the palace with a guide, something I would recommend to get the most of your tour. Our guide provided antidotes which would otherwise have been unavailable. And avoiding the line is an additional benefit.
