What a gem of a place. Pay the extra and visit the upper floor with a guide. We were totally in awe of everything we saw - Roman mosaics, 16th century ceilings. An intimate insight into the Consuela's life

It is a rare experience to be able to walk on whole room floors made of original Roman murals but here at the Palacio, it is the norm. The floors are so well preserved, it is a privilege to be able to walk on them and the rest of the palace is a delight. The Moorish influence is as strong as in the other palaces that you can visit in Seville but it is the Roman floors that are really very special. There is a real sense of the Contesa about the place and I would highly recommend a visit to this very Andalucian palace.

The Palacio de la Condesa is a beautiful building and definitely a must-see while in Seville. The structure of the palace is a typical of Sevillian stately homes: an arrangement of airy rooms and hall-Medusa, Ganymede, Dionysus, Octagonal rooms. All rooms are richly decorated, Roman <Greek and Persian statues, Louis XVI furniture, vases and pots.please pay to go upstairs..NO photography on the top floor.

Lebrija Palace was formerly a private house owned by a Condesa and is special because not only is the house lovely (moorish style) it is also special because the Condessa who owned it was an avid collector of Roman mosaics and medieval tiles which she displayed very lavishly in the house. Pretty cool.

This is a little hard to find (we are not great with maps) and we paid for the full guided tour. What was truly worth it actually is the ground floor self-directed tour. You get to see the beautiful staircase, lots of mosaics, the pompei style floors, the moorish architecture. A must see and a little outside of the huge crowds. See this first and the next day go to the Real Alcazar.
