We stayed here in June 2018 for 8 nights. I see that Trip Advisor is showing the hotel as having ‘Wheelchair Access’. All rooms are reached by either steps or one of the two lifts. One of the two wheelchair accessible rooms is reached by a lift which has the exit from the lift at 90 degrees to the entrance to the lift. Our mobility scooter could not turn in the lift to allow it to exit the lift. If your wheelchair is smaller it may be able to turn or be manoeuvred. There are stairs to the Breakfast room, pool and roof terraces, so a wheelchair could not access them.
I appreciate that this hotel is a combination of 14 restored houses and there are limitations on the adaptions that are possible but it is important that people for whom stairs are a problem are aware of how inaccessible much of the hotel is.
The hotel is well situated with friendly professional staff.More
