We had a lovely time here . Granada is beautiful and we though this hotel was lovely . We had the room La Torre on the top floor with a terrace looking out over Granada and it felt like a movie set ! Breakfast at 8euro was fine we thought - though I note others were disappointed - but to sit on that terrace with a coffee was wonderful for us. Hosts were kind and knowledgable - thank you . My only slight wish was for a cup of tea at after a hard day sightseeing - you can make one in little breakfast area but it’s 2euro - and I found it a bit of a faff - I could never find a cup I only spotted the supply on a nearby cupboard on our final day ... but it’s such a minor point it’s almost not with mentioning . Anyway we had a great time and would really love to return - ps the Alhambra is one of the few historical places I have visited which lives up to the hype - it’s awesome

Room Tip: La Torre with the view to die for ....

We stayed for a week at this romantic, hillside Inn, a stone's throw from the Alhambra Palace grounds and and easy walk into old Granada. The innkeeper, Manuel, and his family were gracious and helpful with all our questions on restaurants, directions, tours, etc..

Room Tip: Rooms with patios are fabulous!

The location overlooking the city and nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Alhambra is spectacular. The B&B, a seven room home is comfortable, well appointed, charming and relaxing. Manuel and Alejandro were gracious hosts. The breakfast was adequate, the supply of fruit and drinks all day was convenient. This B&B is well worth the expense for the full package it delivers.

Room Tip: Torre room on the third floor offered a great view.

My husband & I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. The location was great, with the Alhambra a 10 minute walk away in one direction & the Center of Granada in the other. The atmosphere was relaxed & the hosts charming & helpful. The entrance & terrace were beautiful, with great views over the city. All in all a lovely, comfortable, tucked-away, place - ideal! We would book
again!

We stayed two nights at Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol overseeing Granada, just 10 minutes walk down from Alhambra’s entry and just another 10 minuets walk to city center. From the very first moment we felt like visiting a family’s home. The owner, Alexandro, welcomed us and took his time to explain all practicalities and facilities of this seven room boutique hotel nicely located on the hill of Alhambra. Driving there is a bit challenging over the last 300m, but Alexandro kindly took our car to his underground garage (do always ring him upon approaching). A full day spent in Alhambra incl. a guided tour is advisable. For lunch and dinner we enjoyed the nearby restaurant serving a.o. an excellent Iberian ham. Best regards Lotte and Torben
