The best thing I will say about this hotel is the location is fantastic. For a stay in Granada I highly recommend staying in the Albaicin district which is the old Moorish quarter. If that is your choice too I am not sure you will find a better hotel. Nearly all you want to do is in walking distance and the pulse of the area is incredible. That said, this one was in need of some sprucing up. The original restoration was done in the 1990s and it feels like it. Our room (20) was split between a lower sleeping area and a loft with a day bed. If traveling with children that may be perfect but for us it was wasted space. We were left feeling we were in a tiny room. There is breakfast and afternoon tea, but no restaurant (though there are many close by). Not much in the way of amenities; you will use this hotel to sleep and eat breakfast, not much else. But that's okay because you are there to see Granada and there is much to see. A CAUTION ON PARKING: the hotel will inform you by email as to their parking situation. Read it. I didn't. You cannot park at or close to the hotel as driving in that area is restricted to cabs and residents. This is enforced with cameras and license plate readers, and retractable pylons.
