We were staying at the H10 hotel and while sitting on the balcony soaking up the glorious sunshine, I noticed a sign on top of a car advertising the Horseshoe pub. We thought we would go and investigate this watering hole and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by Jed who was serving behind the bar and Gary who was having a social drink with the customers. This is a traditional British pub in Spain which attracts locals, ex pats and us tourists with a really good atmosphere, reasonable prices and the usual pub banter. It opens at 6pm till late Monday to Friday and midday till late during the weekends. This is the place to go if you like sport, especially rugby and football. A limited food menu is available and apparently Jed's chilli con carne is a hit with the regulars. Looking forward to going there again the next time I visit the area in the new year.
