We went to Cordoba in May to visit the Patio Festival. The owner of the hostel gave us full information about turist attractions in Cordoba and about the festival. He adviced us when entrance is free in Mezquita na Alcazar. He suggested excellent restaurants to try and we appreciate that. He spoke English so we had no problems with communication in this language.
The room was very basic but nicely decorated. It was very dark, even during the day. It was to dark to read a book even with lights on. We had a room next to the bathroom and a shared kitchen. The door and walls were so thin that we could hear every noise in the bathroom. It was not very pleasent to be woken-up by someone flushing the toilet in the night or talking during beakfast early in the morning. The door in the room were not solid - most of its area was a pane of glass, so we felt no privacy. You need to pay extra for towels. The room and shared bathroom were not cleaned daily. We had no problems with access to the bathroom.More
