We arrived in Dresden late and needed dinner. A quick trip advisor search led me to this restaurant. When we got there it was super busy and, not seeing the reception desk buried inside the restaurant, we flagged down one of three waiters to ask if we could sit. Service was slow but friendly. Drinks were great. And the food.... oh, the food. This place is so amazing. I had a grilled peach and buffalo mozzarella salad which was a meal in and of itself. The husband had beef tartar which was also plentiful and delicious. For a second course I ate an Italian dish I had never had before... mulfatti. It came with super fresh peas, broccoli, snow peas, a light tomato sauce, and cheese. It was sooooo good. The husband had outrageously delicious lamb sausage with mashed potatoes, olives, and ratatouille. Everything was soooo fresh and well prepared. Such good value for the cost. For dessert we shared the special, strawberry tiramisu. Again, outstanding because it wasn't too sweet.
The menu does come in English but you have to ask for it. The specials were on a board and weren't translated but I'm sure you could ask as everyone seemed to speak passable English. This is a relatively casual place and seems kid friendly.
