Great location in the main square, close to everything that makes Aachen a worthy place to visit.
Rooms are very pleasant, with complimentary bottled water each day - nice touch. Wifi is free, but a little quirky at first, but there was very helpful assistance from the staff. Breakfast is served with a similar personal aire on the 4th floor. Sunday has a late start for breakfast if you are an early riser, so I took croissants and coffee at a nearby cafe whilst on an early morning tour and returned later for the continental style breakfast I would call more brunch-like any way.
Being so close to the square you cannot avoid the late night early morning noises of party-makers without a party to go to. Not too clever if you have to have the windows open when really hot (no AC). If you can accept that, ten this is well worth the stay.

Room Tip: three rooms per floor, the 1's face directly to the square, 2's partially on corner, 3's don't.

Right next to the Rathaus Platz, in a neighbourhood of boutique shops just a couple of hundred meters from the high street, this hotel charms. My room (room #32) was a 'Junior suite', which meant it had room for a writing desk and a small table and 2 chairs, these next to windows looking down Buechel street (or, if you poked your head out the window, over to the Dom). It had the amenities you need (but no laundry service); there was free and consistent wifi. Walls had a lot of scuff marks which need attending to. Breakfast is in an upstairs room; again, sunshine and a district view. Nellie was friendly, helpful; she packed me some breakfast items for my last day when I had to leave earlier than the norm on that day. There was a Christian Bible in a drawer, so it loses a point on 'Overall Rating' for that. (This is automatic demerit for all (ostensibly secular) hotels who provide this.) BTW, Aachen is a treat.

This nice hotel is really well located, in front of the Rathaus and 2 minutes walking from the cathedral. Each morning you can have a rich breakfast served by the nice service staff of the hotel. Moreover the room/main reception where you eat it has a beautiful view to the "skyline" of Aachen.

Probably the rooms with the best view of Marktplatz, are at the last floors.

Do not expect any thrills: this is a simple small hotel. Having said that, many things are just right. The rooms are cosy and practically furnished, there is free wifi everywhere, the location is splendid, just next to the main square. The manager was also extraordinarily friendly and helpful.

Location in the center of the town near the Marktplatz and the Cathedral is good. The hotel is small and family-operated. It is located over four floors with a small lift that is easily interrupted by a safety screen. The rooms are quite spacious and have "homely" rather than typical functional decoration. The beds are not comfortable and narrow with cheap foam pillows. Breakfast was good but the room too cold, so take your coat with you unless you prefer that.
