Basic with a capital "B"! Not the cleanest, there was a sheet left by the cleaner on the floor for 5 days whilst I stayed there. The shower leaked all over the floor.

It has not kettle or coffee making facilities, hairdryer, large wardrobe etc.

Towels are tiny.

Service super unfriendly, but a self service hotel.

Breakfast dire.

Location good for business and eating out.

Not recommended.

Mine was an eleven day stay at this hotel. I don't find the prices to be labelled as cheap. 45€ per day is not that cheap, if you see that this hotel actually offers less than any hostel could offer. The location was really central and was practical for me. Cleanliness was okay, but I saw 2-3 bugs, which actually pissed me off.

Well placed to walk to the Old Town - good budget option in and around more expensive hotels. Car parking is shared with Novotel and is secure and good value at 9 euros. Rooms clean, basic but very comfortable. Hotel quiet - we were there on Weinachtsnacht and slept peacefully. Staff friendly and breakfast ample. Can recommend

Redefining spartan, the ibis Budget basically provides a standardization of the “hostel” type stay. Unfortunately without the friendly flair that some cooler “hostels” provide.

Check in was unpleasant. Location is convenient but not the safest neighbourhood in Aachen. Not sure what else to say.

If your paying less than 50 euro for your stay it’s probably good value for a night or two. If your paying 70 euro or more, maybe worth looking elsewhere for options.

This hotel really is budget, although the room was clean and tidy, the mattress was not comfortable and the next day the only thing replaced was towels, bedsheets was not changed. It has a convenient location in town. The breakfast is definitely not worth it, better off eating from a cafe it only offers toast yoghurts one type of cold sliced meat and cheese. Glad I wasn't staying longer than two nights and if you misplace your code for the door then good luck with that!
