This is probably the main street in Warnemunde for restaurants as there are so many, not just on the street but on numerous boats tied up on the quayside. It’s a lovely place for a stroll but it is really busy with the cruise ships in port.

Boy are we glad we stayed here to explore and didn't go to the Berlin tour. We walked from the ship an easy short walk to find the beautiful place. we walked around time and spent time in the little shops and food places around.
It is well recommended and beats 3 hours on a train each way to go to Berlin

Visited as part of a Baltic Cruise. Enjoyed both Warnemunde and Rostock .Also enjoyed the freedom of the train and tram that runs between the two centres. (Full details from Tourist Information). Rostock very attractive with atmospheric buildings. Warnemunde more seaside like but still the two combined created an excellent day out.

Walk from the train station or the cruise terminal, a pleasant stroll on a nice day. Shops, bars, restrooms and endless views of the harbor, boats and older style buildings. Be sure to check latest trip advisor ratings, as we picked a great restaurant for lunch and a bar to sit and people watch. A lot packed into a fairly small area. Even walk to the beach.
