Delightful and well organized. Some pieces belonged to Zarina Alexandra that was born in Hesse. A good mix of objects.

This charming Museum occupies a small two-storey Palace in Herrengarten on the opposite side from Landesmuseum. Formally, the Palace belonged to Prince George, but we know that it was more of a princess home. This is a complete thematic Museum, funds of which consist of instances of the elite porcelain of European manufacturers, primarily German, including products from Meißen, Furstenburg and Ludwigsburg. Although there is a porcelain from England, Austria and Russia. It's mostly dinner sets and tableware, though there is even porcelain busts and a collection of rare heavy products (including faience) from Kelsterbach.

We were fascinated by the variety and artistic skill as well as the history of every piece of porcelain on display. An amazing collection; exquisitely beautiful and well worth a visit.
