We stayed here for 3 nights and paid €230 which included breakfast. Our room was quite spacious but oddly laid out - the bed was in an alcove which meant we had to shimmy along the wall to get in and out of bed! The room had 3 windows with curtain that didn't fit/close properly - we were overlooked by offices and we very conscious of walking about after showering etc.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is poor. Neither was there any kind of safe in our room. Storage was minimal. The sink plughole in the bathroom stuck on the first night and we couldn't drain the water away. This took 2 trips to reception for it to be finally sorted nearly 24 hours later. Again this is not acceptable. On the second day we arrived back - our room had been cleaned but no clean bath towels had been left out. I asked at reception for 2 towels...one arrived 5 minutes later. We are still waiting for the other one...
Breakfast was ok the usual continental range of meats and cheese as well as bread and cereal.
The hotel itself is in an area I wouldn't have been comfortable with if I had been with one of my daughters instead of my husband, especially at night. If we return to Hamburg then we would try somewhere else.
